The mission of the Foundation for Educational Development is to engage in research, planning,development and consultation in educational innovations centered on science and technology.   The philosophic interest of the Foundation directs it efforts toward the improvement of the learning process by stressing fundamental concepts and direct learner involvement in the basic exploration and development of knowledge.  This approach has the demonstrated potential to motivate and inspire on-going self improvement.

The Foundation seeks to assist school systems and the community in educational,communicative and innovative technological needs.  Its mission is auxiliary to existing efforts by others, and it is not a substitute for or in competition with any current educationally oriented endeavors..

The Foundation will fulfill its mission by piloting beneficial programs in areas that reflect the greatest urgency, and after favorable evaluation, by making field-tested programs, concepts and techniques available in the marketplace.
