M.E.D depends heavily on the generosity of volunteers in helping families in the communities throughout the country. As a volunteer, you are a vital member of the organization. Our thrift shop cannot run without your commitment and hard work, and we expect all volunteers to treat the job just as they would any other job. We commit to treating you as an equal, valued, integral member of our team.

Volunteers will allow our organization to grow. By volunteering at M.E.D Community Thrift store, you are directly responsible for providing support for our special cause of helping families maintain a since of support from our communities.

We are always looking for dynamic and friendly people to help provide great customer service and an outstanding thrifting experience in our shop. Volunteers can accept merchandise donations, assist Alzheimer's and Dementia patient families.  Build and organize baskets to go out to the patient caregiver, work with staff of communities on a wide variety of special projects. Each volunteer is trained to have knowledge of each area of the shop, and each person’s volunteer experience can be tailored to their personal skills and interests.

We welcome you to become part of our thrift shop family.
